Treatment Modalities

I often use these modalities during therapy sessions:

Person-Centered Therapy emphasizes the client’s ability to advocate for their therapeutic needs. Unconditional positive regard, empathic understanding, and genuineness are guiding principles in this treatment.

Clients have the option to create their own therapy schedules (via my website), or choose their own treatment track as part of a Person-Centered approach to treatment.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy aims to identify and change maladaptive thinking patters that cause undesired behaviors and feelings.

My training is predominately CBT- oriented, and I utilize other psychological orientations as it pertains to client’s current needs.

Courses of Treatment

Treatment courses are designed to benefit your therapeutic engagement whilst accommodating your lifestyle.

These courses are typically chosen after our initial session, and can be modified at any time during our treatment.

  • Schedule as-needed via this website without a track.

PHQ-9/ ”Patient Health Questionnaire 9”

This 9-question assessment screens for current depressive symptoms, and tracks their impact on your daily living. After completion, we will discuss this assessment and any depressive symptoms indicated.

This assessment can be sent before every appointment, before every other appointment, or as-needed.

This assessment can be sent as-needed.

GAD-7/ “Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7”

This 7-question assessment screens for current symptoms of anxiety, and tracks their impact on your daily living. After completion, we will discuss this assessment and any anxiety symptoms indicated.

This assessment can be sent before every appointment, before every other appointment, or as-needed.

    You will receive an email from Alma, a HIPAA-compliant organization that will bill your insurance and charge you your co-pay.

  • The out-of-pocket rate is $120/45 minutes, $160/hour.

    Please inquire about sliding-scale fees if needed.

  • I use the HIPAA-compliant platform, Simple Practice, for video appointments. You will be emailed/texted a link from this platform prior to the appointment; click on this link to begin the session at the scheduled time.

    *For clients who prefer to speak via phone for session, I will call you on provided number at appointment time.
